Steven shares personal stories of conversations and of meeting them both. It started at seven, at his grandparents’ house, when he heard Elvis on the television and asked his mother for a record. As a teenager he shook Elvis’s hand backstage in Las Vegas. In 1990, Johnny Cash and June Carter rolled up in a golf cart at Knott’s Berry Farm. “I think my knees buckled. He looked about twelve feet tall.”

Elvis on the projector. Steven on stage singing it. The night closes with Would He Believe — the song he wrote in his motel room after the 25th Candlelight Vigil in 2002, and on the Wall at Graceland in 2012, at the 35th Elvis Week.
