The story

Steven discovered Elvis at seven, clicking through the television at his grandparents’ house. He went into the kitchen and asked his mother if she had heard of someone named Elvis. She laughed and said yes, then asked why. “I think I want to buy one of his records.” The next day she took him to the record store. He bought two.

As a teenager he shook Elvis’s hand backstage in Las Vegas. In 2002 after the 25th Candlelight Vigil, Steven returned to his motel room and wrote Would He Believe. The vigil was held during the 25th Anniversary Elvis Week. In 2012, at the 35th Elvis Week, he wrote it on the Wall at Graceland. It is a country song in his own voice.

Would He Believe was his first single as a singer-songwriter. Steven's music has also found listeners and fans all over the world in the USA, Netherlands, France, Spain, UK, and more.
